Five Muni moments this week

Here are five noteworthy things that happened on Muni this week:

A man bothered to stand up before peeing on the bus. How polite!? A Chewbacca-wielding gentleman hits on fellow passenger. Because, San Francisco. The entire cast of Abercrombie and Fitch, the Movie boarded a Muni Metro train. Random girl wondered whether drug tests are required to take the California bar exam. They should be!? And finally, Rosanna is wondering whether not spilling her morning coffee was worth it, after failing to come up with a reason to talk to the cute guy next to her on Muni.

Next Saturday at Muni Diaries Live, we’ll trade your great Muni stories for a heaping tray of BBQ, sides, and booze from Southpaw BBQ.

Southpaw BBQ is giving a gift certificate for the best audience storyteller at our show on March 2, which is only nine days away! Southpaw is within stumbling distance from the Elbo Room, so you will be five minutes away from a silver tray of ribs, braised greens, and mac and cheese. The bar’s whiskey selection is totally legit too. We wish we could offer you a bib as you peruse Southpaw’s menu.

So get your advanced tickets right here and we will see you next Saturday, March 2!

“I am the owner of Muni!”

Brandon wrote his diary while the action was taking place on the bus. He even updated it for you! Check it out:

Woman just got on the bus and yelled at the bus driver because he asked her to pay. She yelled, “You don’t recognize me?! I am the owner of Muni! If you don’t recognize me you shouldn’t be working at my company!”

She actually looks very well put together so I’m not sure whether she’s crazy or is actually the owner of Muni.

Update: She is now yelling at him accusing him of very specific things (he’s been fired 18 times, he transports babies to Mexico) and telling him her attorneys will contact him by tomorrow.

Public transportation is cool.

Yes, it is. Drop your Muni story in our submission box.
