The Next Day: Left Behind on Muni
Via Muni rider Cynthia: “Trick or treat? Guy just hurried out of the back of the #5L and left behind corn. No, seriously, corn.”
Your place to share stories on and off the bus.

Ah, Halloween. Shutting down the annual party in the Castro did nothing to dampen the spirits of San Francisco adults who dress up this day as though they don’t dress up any of the other 364 days each year. Enjoy!

Oh man, I’m probably too something to offer fair commentary here. I’ll just leave it at a simple: “Kids these days …”
P.S. Captain Morgan-ing is so last year.
Via Muni rider and Market Street Railway volunteer Jeremy: “Dude that seat is for your ass not your foot. wait with that I’m cool look, u ARE an ass”
Well, this person would just look ridiculous at the pirate and/or Revolutionary War party without the be-feathered tri-corner hat, which, incidentally, is a really tough look to pull off. Arguably not as tough as the tiny plastic cowboy hat on Muni, but you be the judge.

Not everyone is on board with the whole reusable shopping bags gig. We get it. New habits and all.
But Muni rider Roger spotted an upright citizen taking things to a whole new level. Roger?
This guy got the L Inbound, and brought a trash can with him. He was digging it and taking his grocery shopping out of there and having a little snack during his trip to downtown.. Definitely things that you don’t see every day (at least not inside the muni).
I mean just wow.
The “weather” inside Muni often doesn’t match what’s going on outside. That was especially true for Muni rider Stephanie recently:
“It was a clear night but it was weirdly raining in my @sfmta_muni train.”
Weirdly, indeed. Here’s hoping that Stephanie and her fellow passengers survived the deluge.
