“There was this lady on [sic] the #muni going on and on about how her friends [sic] Wicken spell brought her boyfriend back to her.”

Hella people draw their fellow Muni passengers. It’s good practice, and lord knows there’s never a dearth of interesting characters on the bus.
Muni rider Avner shares the unique perspective of how those people react to being “drawn on Muni.”
“My name is Avner Geller. I am an artist living in San Francisco and working in the animation industry. I take the muni to work every day, and usually sketch the different passengers. People often ask me how do people react if they catch me…I made this little clip as an answer to how it feels.”

In September, SFMTA’s Twitter account unveiled the hashtags it would be using to provide real-time updates for followers. Here’s a sample:
#MuniMetro = Muni Metro Subway between Van Ness and Embarcadero stations. We use this designation because delays in this stretch of the subway affect all of the light rail lines: J, K, L, M, N & T.

#fmarket = F Market & Wharves

It’s either a nightmare or a really memorable ride. Wait, that kinda describes every trip on Muni, eh?
Via Muni rider Ramona says on Facebook:
“Oh great. My bus driver just got list! I Suddenly heard him say, “I missed a turn,” and I looked up and saw we were heading down Lincoln instead of straight through the park! How that happened I’m not sure, and for a moment visions of Speed ran through my brain…”
