Had a conversation with coworkers about it yesterday, and now @amandarants posts the photo above.

Muni rider Charles passed this one along. SF resident Eli Noyes drew some stamps for the Postal Service’s “Go Green” stamp series.
Noyes says he let life in San Francisco inspire his work on the stamps. Naturally, there’s a stamp with a bus on it. Muni looks good in green, no?

And yes, we see the irony of the Postal Service’s message, “Go green” with “by using dead-tree mail” implied. Still!

I love public transportation. When I travel to different cities I always seek out the adventure of public transportation. There is something magical about emerging from a subway station in a strange city for the first time. This new piece is made up of public transportation maps from around the world. From the San Francisco Bay Area’s Muni, AC Transit and BART to DC’s Metro, to London’s Underground and many more.

Appropriately, our friends at Tiny Rides sent us this New York City Subway-riding goat, Cocoa. Cocoa (!) loves people, and she can’t sleep at night unless owner and Joisey resident Cyrus Fakroddin is in eyeshot. In a Reuters photo shoot by Allison Joyce, Cocoa is doing everything from hanging in Central Park to catching the C train from Columbus Circle. What a polite-seeming passenger, no?
