I am not a San Franciscan, but I love the city, and Muni. A while ago I was visiting and took a ride on a Market Street historic trolley; it was the open top car from Blackpool if I remember correctly. I rode it to the end of the line, and was about to get off when I remembered I had not bought a ticket. I went to the conductor and offered my money. He asked “did you enjoy the ride?” I said yes, to which he replied “then you don’t pay”. Lovely…Only in San Francisco!

My work friends gave me this orchid because last week was kind of fucked. How nice, right? I got on a bus after work and carried it home on my lap. I tried my best to stare past it and out the window, like I always do sans plant.
Flowers on Muni are kind of like pets on Muni, turns out. I did not know this firsthand until last week.

Looks like one particular Muni driver has caught the eyes of at least two riders who appreciate his good manners.
Just last week, we found a nice tweet complimenting a driver who was arguably better than your last OKCupid date.

I started to collect all my Muni bus transfers since 2009 and they’ve been gathering dust in my drawer. Now I’ve been putting them to use by covering these DIY vinyl toys with my colorful bus transfers. This one was a Tokidoki Unicorno but it’s been transformed into a majestic MUNIcorn.
