The Muni catwalk just doesn’t let up, and thank goodness for that. Via Muni rider Jason, we have someone wearing Ryan Gosling. You can kindly enter your jealousy _____ (<— yep, there). Another option is making some more Hey, Girl/Ryan Gosling memes with a Muni twist. I’ll start:

That SFMTA citation was total crap. I’ll go with you to the hearing and buy you lunch and flowers afterward to make you feel better.
Now that the Superb Owl is over, it’s time for everyone’s other favorite spectator sport, BART and Muni shaming, for which there is never an offseason.
We have Exhibit A, above, via Muni rider Victoria: “This guy didn’t give up seat for pregnant woman, is talking on phone & has legs wide spread.”
Oh, good. Totally makes up for it if you’re on the phone and man-sitting.
Then, via BART rider and friend extraordinaire Eileen: “I like to call it ‘I’m pretending to sleep so I don’t have to acknowledge the octogenarians in need of a seat swaying to and fro.'”
As much as I love a good game of peek-a-boo, this is neither the time nor the place.

No, someone do it, ’cause I’ve got nothing. Thankfully, in perhaps its most San Francisco-est post possible*, BuzzFeed ranked the beards on this HBO show about gay life in the city, and we hear some of those handsome beards are riding Muni. It is obviously my duty as your editor to tune in and spend an exorbitant amount of time on this topic.
#12 features some hot Muni Metro action, guest starring Muni Diaries Live alum and BuzzFeed editor Isaac Fitzgerald. We have enjoyed this beard for years.
#2 is Richie, whose beard is a little patchy for my taste, but check out that strangely pristine transit vehicle. Mee-ow. Oh, A+ on the Giants hat, Richie.
* Despite its criminal use of “the” with Muni.
Says BART rider Josh, “Oh, don’t let me intrude on your me time!”
Also, what’s that on the ground? Dude, clean up after yourself!
Look, it’s as good a time as any if you also don’t care about taking up the special seats. BART is also your own personal workspace/couch, didn’t you know?

Um, yes he does. I really really really want this to be the same urban cowboy we saw back in 2012.
Muni riders send us all kinds of great footwear—from botanical combat boots to bubble booties—not just because it’s the easiest thing to photograph surreptitiously on a crowded Muni vehicle.

I think we can safely say that these two complete each other. No, really, block out one or the other, and it’s not the same.
This comes via our correspondent Amy, who spotted it on Facebook after someone (Mark Gorney, and thank jeebus he did) spotted it in the wild. A simply heartwarming photograph called for a simple accompaniment:
“Sometimes, there are those times, where you are going home, and there is a guy with a cat, and, well…”
