Think you missed the colorful paper Fast Passes of yore? Wait until you see what Fast Passes looked like before the colorful stripe design. The San Francisco Public Library’s “Cussed and Discussed” show about Muni has some interesting old Fast Passes, including one with a pumpkin cutout, and another appropriate back-to-school theme.
axelfeldheim on Instagram took some photos of these old gems.

As long as we’re on that trip down the time capsule, check out these fancy old Fast Passes from 1976 to 1978 and 1987-1988. Makes you look at your ole Clipper card and sigh, doesn’t it?

San Francisco weather dictates that you wear layers at all times. So how do you layer casual chic pieces this season without looking too bulky? @fashion415 found the answer. Pair your favorite dark jeans with some light-color denim for a slimming, ultra-layered look. Wear a matching simple leather belt (only on the outer pants, guys) to make sure that it fits just low enough at the waist. This gentleman has also paired his double-pant outfit with a peek-a-boo crop shirt that accentuates his waist.
Finally, a chic way to wear more of your favorite pants.

The San Francisco Police Department arrested a second suspect in connection to the bus arson that happened on Oct. 29. According to the SFPD report:
Inspectors from the Department’s Special Investigations Division, which includes the Arson Task Force, arrested Nicholas Hudson, 19, of Daly City. He was arrested in South San Francisco at 10:15 A.M. and was later booked into San Francisco County Jail.
Hudson has been charged with vandalism, damaging or destroying a passenger transit vehicle, arson (all felonies), and a probation violation. Police credit the input and assistance from the public helping to identify Hudson.
The vandalism of Muni buses was clearly upsetting to many regular riders like you, judging from the submissions that flooded our inbox the day after the World Series game, including this disturbing video of rioters lighting the bus on fire. People were plenty upset in Twittersphere too:
#SFriots…….WTF!? the vibes were sooo goooood after the win at #civiccenter, what did #muni ever do to you?! Sorry bout it @munidiaries

@munidiaries Make him pay for a replacement.

Oh by the way, @PKittyTrisha asked if the driver was ok in the arson. He is, and was in fact honored for heroism.
The police are still looking for help identifying other suspects in the vandalism (photos on the SFPD news site)
If you have a tip regarding the vandalism, the SFPD is asking people to call the SFPD Special Investigations Division/Arson Task Force at (415) 920-2944, the Anonymous Tip Line (415) 575-4444 or Text a Tip to TIP411 and begin the text with SFPD.
