Guy makes Muni arrival sign for his home
Not content with the abundant Next Muni arrival apps out there, Muni rider Pavel done went and hacked his own.
Pavel says he got fed up one day when his Muni Metro train pulled off without him. Imagine what the world would look like if we all made something new every time that happened. Our city would be an ever-growing mound of stuff, kinda like in WALL-E. But I digress …
Read Pavel’s tl;dr story about making his own Muni arrival sign. Would you want one of these little buggers in your house?
Can he install one at the new “shelter” (with no walls or seats) on the NW corner of 19th & Lincoln? Been 2 months and it is STILL nonoperational.
Report that to SFMTA Twitter or SFMTA Facebook
Love this!

Eric, can I have one!?
U won’t need this when the buses and streetcars run frequently enough. But sadly that’s not the case.
Yes, I would definitely love to have one that tracks my 3 closest routes.
Maybe he should rig some up in the shelters that are NextBus-less…
What a cool idea. Pavel creativity really shines through here. I can imagine having one of those signs would add a fun and practical touch to any home.
