Your Weekend Transit Advisory: Unveiling “Caruso’s Dream”
Oh hey, here’s your weekend transit advisory from the SFMTA. Nothing too exciting happening this weekend except for some street repairs and unveiling an art installation called “Caruso’s Dream.” Be sure to check if your line’s affected by the repair work.

Repair and Maintenance Projects
Beginning at 9 p.m., Friday through 4 a.m., Sunday, crews from the SFMTA, San Francisco Public Utilities Commission, Department of Public Works and PG&E will perform maintenance work along Market Street and at various locations:
Market Street between Fremont and 3rd streets
Market Street at 1st Street
Spear Street at Market Street
Spear Street at Mission Street
Kearny Street between Post and Market streets
3rd Street between Market and Mission streets
There will be no street closures required for this project.
The following Muni lines and routes will be affected during the course of the work:
F Market and Wharves (Muni buses will replace street cars on Saturday)
K Ingleside (Early Morning Metro Buses Only)
L Owl
M Ocean View (Early Morning Metro Buses Only)
N Judah (Early Morning Metro Buses Only)
N Owl
5 Fulton
6 Parnassus
8X Bayshore Express
9 San Bruno
21 Hayes
30 Stockton
31 Balboa
38 Geary
38L Geary Limited
45 Union/Stockton
71 Haight/Noriega
Customers are encouraged to allow extra travel time during the hours when the maintenance work takes place.
Street Closure for Celebration of Art Installation
On Sunday, there will be a celebration of an art installation from 6 to 7:30 p.m. on a new building located on 9th Street.
To facilitate this event, 9th Street between Market and Mission streets will be closed at 4:30 p.m. and will be re-opened at 8:30 p.m.
Northbound traffic on 9th Street will be diverted to either South Van Ness Avenue or 7th Street during the street closure.
There will be no impact on Muni service.
