Your Weekend Transit Advisory: Hot Chocolate Run, repair projects

Hot Chocolate Run
On Sunday, the 5K/15K Hot Chocolate Run will take place inside Golden Gate Park. The race starts at 7:30 AM from Martin Luther King Drive. An attendance of 10,000 is expected.

Traffic is anticipated to be heavy during the race along John F. Kennedy Drive, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, The Great Highway and Lincoln Way between La Playa and The Great Highway.

The following street closures will be required from 8 to 11 a.m.:
Lincoln Way between La Playa and Great Highway
Great Highway from Lincoln Way to Sloat Boulevard

The 18 46th Avenue Muni route will be affected during the event.

SFPUC’s Repair Projects
Beginning at 2 a.m., Saturday through 4 a.m., Sunday, workers from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission will begin sewer maintenance work along Market Street at various locations:

Kearny Street between Post and Market streets
Market Street between Kearny and Beale streets
3rd Street between Market and Mission streets

There will be no street closures required for this project.
