Hanging on for Dear Life on Muni
You know and I know that this isn’t necessary, what’s happening in that there photo above.
But clearly, dude doesn’t know that. And for that, we thank him.

It’s a snapshot. He might be preparing to leverage himself upward to a standing position in preparation for disembarking. Or, he might not like the side-to-side motion created by jerky stops and starts.
I have to hold on like that because I have balance issues, even while sitting. And if know of a bus that is a smooth ride… let me know!
