I believe that the great majority of Muni drivers do their difficult and too often thankless jobs pretty darn well.
I’ve enjoyed the luxury of not owning a car since 1987 or so. The majority of those years included riding Muni twice a day, often more.
In that period I can count the number of “bad” Muni drivers I’ve encountered on one hand. On the other hand, I simply can’t count the number of “bad” passengers I’ve had the privilege to observer, or even interact with.
I have yet to make a handmade card (my crafts skills are non-existent) but I regularly make it a point to say something nice to a Muni driver when I’ve seen them do something nice or handle a difficult situation with aplomb.
