Update (1:34 p.m.): @clowntraps was kind enough to share the photo above, adding, “the N Judah accordion player from yesterday. Quite good!” So there you have it. Now, audio, anyone?

Of all the instruments that could serenade me on #muni, it just had to be the accordion, didn't it?

2. Joyous
Random guy is playing an accordian on the N-Judah right now. And it is amazing. And I am loving it 🙂 #onlyinsf #muni cc: @munidiaries

We recently learned of a mysterious full band entertaining/irritating L-Taraval passengers. Won’t someone help unmask the accordion player on the N-Judah? Are the two somehow related?
Here’s another photo, this one showing TWO accordion players, from bananaeggroll:
The accordion player I saw on Muni was accompanied by a young woman carrying a baby and collecting tips in a cup. First off, it nearly blasted my eardrums on a crowded train. Second, I really resent the whole business of exploiting a baby to guilt me into donating.
Wow, NIMBYs on Muni too!
Blasted your eardrums, eh? Geez! Don’t ever take Bart!

Playing music on a train or bus in the middle of an audience who has no choice but to listen is pretty rude.
Yes ! I love accordion players!
I’ve seen the couple with the accordeon several times on the BART Fremont-Richmond line as well as in the Fremont station. His playing actually sounds pretty good but I’m also a little annoyed at how they’re using a baby to get money. Totally works, though— I gave them some, twice. Wish I knew what their story was— maybe I’ll ask next time I see them.
