Honestly, how much “warmth and cover” do SF transit users require?
No one ever talks about the wind in SF, but yeah, wind. We are also not hardened by real seasons so go easy on us.
It is a dilemma indeed. Balancing functionality and safety in public infrastructure is crucial. Maybe a collaborative effort between designers and the community could lead to better solutions.
